The Department of Mechanical Engineering of sri Sairam Engineering College has conducted a three days faculty development program on ‘Computational Fluid Dynamics and Engineering Simulations’ from 05-06-2020 to 07-06-2020 through online. On the first day of this FDP, the resource person was Dr. P. Rajesh Kanna, Ph.D (IIT G), D.Sc (Poland) Associate Professor and Head, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering and Computing, Al Ghurair University, Dubai, UAE. On the second day, there were two resource persons shared their research experiences. They were Dr. V. Antony Aroul Raj, Ph.D., Research Coordinator, Easwari Engineering College, Chennai and Mr. G. Nagendran, Director, CADDAM Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Chennai Dr. K. Arul Prakash, Ph.D (IIT Kanpur), Professor, Dept. of Applied Mechanics; Indian Institute of Technology Madras Chennai was the resource person on the third day. This program was very much useful for Faculties who teach Heat transfer, Fluid mechanics, Simulations and Analysis, and also for those who carry out research in the field of Fluid flow and heat transfer.
