The Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with SAE COLLEGIATE Club and Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PERA) conducted a training programme on “Energy Conservation and Management” on 14.02.2020. Mr.K.Anil Kumar, Empanelled Speaker,PCRA, Ex Senor Manager-BPCL, was the Chief Guest and delivered the inaugural address.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with CADDAM Technologies conducted six days value added Training programme from 03.02.2020 to 08.02.2020 on ” Creo Parametric 3D Modelling “. The inaugural function was on 03.02.2020 and Mr. S.V. Thiagarajan, Senior Manager, AVL Technological Centre Pvt Limited, Chennai, was the Chief Guest.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering organised an awareness program on Global Warming on 24.07.2019 in Government Higher Secondary School, Somangalam, in association with Indian Society for Heating, Refrigerating and AirConditioning Engineers (ISHRAE). The school students were told about global warming and the importance of its prevention. Trees were planned.
